Melissa is a Professional Biologist with twenty years experience in animal care and behavior modification. As a professional biologist, Melissa spent fifteen years responsible for a large collection of diverse animals and aquatic plants in a major zoological park. During that time, Melissa gained valuable experience in shaping the behavior of bony fishes, cephalopods, sharks, rays and skates, and loggerhead sea turtles. Melissa is the owner and Professional Canine Behavior Consultant of Sindar Kennel and also President and Behavior Consultant for Weimaraner Rescue of SC.
