Many toys occupy the shelves of our local pet stores. With a few exceptions, we feel most of these toys are safe. In general, products that include ingredients that present a danger of blocking the intestine or products that increase the risk of tooth breakage are toys that should be avoided.

Products to Avoid:

	NYLABONE EDIBLES or NYLABONE SOFT PUPPY BONES (see webpage entitled "Recommended Chews."

Products we Recommend:

	KONG name brand rubberized toys are highly recommended especially when filled with a tasty treat. These toys are considered tooth-safe and, when filled with a treat, can keep a canine busy for a long while.
	NYLABONE HARD (not puppy or edible) chew toys are considered safe and come in a variety of flavors.
	FLEECE-style toys are a great hardy soft toy for dogs that do not de-construct toys.
	BALLS of almost any kind (excluding those constructed of above "avoid" list.
