Dog dens are specially designed to reduce anxiety. Dens provide a sanctuary for  daily quiet and sleepy time, contact security with a sense of private space, and respect for the dogs heritage  of the wolf.

Climate controlled indoor dens lead to individual fourteen foot long outdoor porches great for  watching birds and rabbits 

All dogs get a minimum of one hour in the living room everyday

The kennel room is part of the kennel owner's home  so there is lots of time for  personal attention and all night monitoring.  Being a part of a residence gives the dogs the feel of their normal household.

All dogs get four supervised personal exercise times in the play yard every day

Playgroups are provided in the exercise yard or the living room if your dog gets along with others so your best friend has the opportunity to make new friends and have lots of dog play exercise.

With a very small number of dog dens, we have the capacity to meet the needs of our clients but provide the kind of personal service that only a small kennel can provide

All dog care is provided by Melissa who has 16 years experience showing and training dogs.  Melissa is a member of the International Association of Dog Behavior Consultants and is on the path to certification as a Dog Behavior ist.  Melissa studies the latest in dog behavior theory and positive motivation based training techniques.

Sindar is located in the beautiful horse country of New Holland just 25 minutes from downtown Aiken off New Holland Road or 35 minutes from downtown Columbia on a private 32 acre plantation.

Our beautiful woodland walk trail is almost a mile long and winds through the old hardwood forest surrounding the kennel.   Guest dogs can enjoy a leisurely walk on a flexi-lead and enjoy the smells of nature.

Kennel is open 365 days a year and is available for pick up or drop off anytime between 7 am and 7 pm.
